Keeping updated

Hey folks, thought I’d give you an update on everything during this period of physical distancing.

Life in the world of Twysted Roots isn’t that different from a practical sense. I take the dogs walks in quiet places because one of my doggos doesn’t get on well with other doggos so I’ve always avoided being around anywhere that’s going to have lots of people. I don’t like busy places myself, or shopping so that’s always been done online. The only inside place I go to (other than my house) is the post office, but living rurally, there’s never many people there so I’m pretty much covered in the whole ‘keeping your distance’ thing.

The online shop will be open and carrying on as usual as long as it’s possible to do so. I’ve been keeping an eye on the Post Office updates which you can see for yourself here https://www.postoffice.co.uk/coronavirus - any changes that affect delivery I’ll update on the blog and on social media.

It goes without saying that if I had any symptoms myself, I will temporarily close the shop. Having worked in hospitals and the food industry previously I’ve always taken preventative measures and containment seriously; if you have any worries or questions then please do get in touch. This is a worrying time for many people and it’s perfectly ok to seek reassurance.

On a slightly different note, if you are on the lookout for something to buy as a gift, I can send it direct, along with a card and message at no extra cost if you can't get out. This isn't new, but it's worth mentioning in case you weren't aware. Just remember to put the recipients address on the shipping and I'll take care of the rest.
