Well that's January nearly over so figured I'd get a post in to mark the occasion. First thing to mention is I'm having an end of January sale! It wasn't just a clickbait title to lure you in. It's been ages since a Twysted Roots sale graced the internet but storage space is tight and funds are even tighter so would welcome a little breathing space on both fronts. Everything is discounted automatically so no codes or anything to give out and it's on now and will last til Sunday February 1st 11.59pm GMT / UK time. The website is up for renewal again this year so I'm having a bit of a ponder on whether to move to a different provider or just stick this one out for a bit longer. I'd love to find one that hasn't bought into the AI nonsense that every platform and company seem to have ran headfirst into. Is there such a unicorn out there? I hate that it's so prevalent in absolutely everything and can only hope the novelty wears off soon because the whole thing sucks. This has and always will be an AI free zone. Currently sitting tapping this out as another storm is busy storming outside. January is generally pretty crappy weather wise, but this has been a particularly bleak year with multiple storms and flooding. My garden is like a swamp and I'm realising there is no such thing as truly waterproof after multiple soakings while out dog walking. Cornwall has its beauty and charm but the winters are much the same as up in Scotland, just with less snow. A few new trees have popped up on the website this month after deciding it was time to get some of the gemstone stash used. I'll be working on a requested tree for the next few weeks and hopefully using some new ways of finishing it off as it's a pretty specific one and I've had a few ideas of how to do it. This of course kicked in the indecision but past history has taught me to just get over myself and get on and start it because it generally works out ok in the end. Wish me luck!
